秋の虹朝の散歩の防波堤
日の落ちて秋の夕焼け雲を染む
故郷の高松は港町です。
そこに住む句友が暫く連絡とれず、やっと繋がって、元気を確認できました。
朝に夕に、防波堤や桟橋のある辺りまで散歩するといい、ある日の大きな虹を側にいる釣り人と愛でたと興奮ぎみに教えてくれました。

桐一葉、格別の思いがある季語のひとつです。桐の木は、娘の生まれた家の庭先に、昔は植えたもので、娘がいますという標識のようでした。今は、あまり見かけない木になりました。

今は娘の住む静岡ですが、ここへ来る前はいつも、一度高速を降りて、近江八幡の専門店で、近江牛とコロッケをお土産に買い、そこの二階のレストランでビーフシチューをお昼にするのが、このところのパターンでした。それで着いたのが十二時頃、ところが今日は火曜、定休日とあって、どちらも閉まっていました。それで、つい最近行った彦根なら観光客も多いし、近江牛の店も少し当てがあるしと、近江平野をのんびりドライブしました。山の紅葉はないのですが、ひつじ田が丈良く金色にカーペットを敷いたかのように、耀いて拡がり、綺麗でした。彦根の町も、商店街は火曜、定休日のところばかり。紅葉の彦根城へ観光客は多いのに、目当てのお肉屋さんも、牛丼のファーストフードコーナーとコロッケ売り場だけ開けていました。
二時頃、不本意な遅い昼食、ステーキ肉をコロッケに変えたお土産をもって、また高速に戻りました。
静岡に着くころには、月が出て暗くなっていました。
