’９３　師走　～　’９４　正月             December,'93 - January '94

　　病院勤務２回目の正月を迎えて　　　　　　　　    To greet the second New Year after being employed

                                                                       in the Hospital.
職場とはかくすさまじきかく寒き　　　　　　　　　How fierce and how cold our working place is!
不意うちの凍る一声突き刺さる                    A sudden icy voice stabbed me to the heart.
木枯しや若き怒声に落涙す                        A chilly wind was blowing outside,
                                  　　　　　　　            young woman's voice with anger
                                                              made me, in spite of myself, shed tears .
寒風と疑心闇鬼が渦巻けり                        With icy blowing wind
                                                             Suspitions and fears were in a whirl.
虚心あり空笑いあり冬の談                        We had a freindly talk in wintry room,
                                                             vacant mind being there, hollow smile being here.
無視せよと夫軽やかに居間ぬくし　　　　　　　"Take no account of her",
         my husband said lightly in the warm living room.

底冷えの気を立て直し和を成さん　　　　　　　I will build a harmonious personal relation,
         after rebuilding my entirely frozen heart.
師走なり半分主婦の悲しさよ　　　　　　　　　　In busy month of December,
         I, part-time house wife,
         feel regrettable for waisting hours so much.
真新し白き暦に「休」を入れ　　　　　　　　　　　On a white space of the first sheet of the new calender,
 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　                I made an entry of "absence" .
新年に安穏なるかな職場あり　　　　　　　　　I greet a new year in peace,
        I have a work place.
「用うべし」構えたる我年賀かな　　　　　　　　"Use my talents", I prepared my words
        of New year's greeting
        that appealed myself
薬剤師年改まりての決意述べ                   A new year's resolution I told as a pharmasist.
分業の変化のうねり年明くる                     A strong wave of separation of dispensary
                                                            was made toward this year.

              逸見正孝氏死去                                              Mr.Masataka Itsumi died of cancer.
自覚あり予期もされたり暮れの死期           He was aware of his own life-span,
                                                            and
                                                            expected to die at the end of the year.
燃え尽きぬ命闘い終の冬                         The last winter came ,
                                                            for life he fighted
                                                            and burned to death.
雷鳴す霰降る音恐ろしき                          A thunder sounds.
                                                           And it hailed.
                                                           It was dreadful day.
冬戯れて告知無惨の結果の死　　　　　　　 Notification of cancer pitilessly showed him
      the wintry bleak way to death.

報道の重なりて癌の身は凍え　　　　　　　　Other patiants who were notified to be cancer
      were frozen at a series of reports on TV.
テレビ人テレビ葬にて冬に送る　　　　　　　 They perform a funeral of the man on TV
 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　              in cold winter,
      who had lived in TV
誠実もサービス精神冬に散る　　　　　　　　He has gone in the season of winter,
      had lived with sincerity
      to give his services to others.
送り火のごとにぎやかにクリスマス　　　　　Those pathways decorated
      with glittering lights for the Christmas Eve
    　　　　　　　　                                     seemed to be arranged
      only for the funeral procession
引合いて涙誘うやみぞれ花　　　　　　　　　The white sleet falls,
     The white flowers are ornamented,
     The white atomosphere moves a man to tears.
追悼の特番年の暮れのこと　　　　　　　　　The memorial programs of the end of the year
  　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　                     were splendidly specialized for him.
弔ひも時代時代や除夜の鐘　　　　　　　　 A funeral has a period flavor, hasn't it?
     I had a question when I heard the temple bells
     on New Year's Eve.
名を残す番組年は改まり　　　　　　　　　　 Can't give up his name!
     It appears on TV even in new year's programs.

初学の頃の、古い句があった。その頃属していた結社が、英語俳句も採っていたので、英語の句を付けたりもした。読み返すと、おかしいくらい未熟であるが、思い出として、「古い句集」と題して、ここに納めよう。少し訂正した句やフレーズもある。
