　　結婚式                                                                  On the wedding day
朝寒の佳き日仲人身支度す                       With a chill in the air, on the morning,
                                                             to act as go-between,we dressed up.
菊薫る新幹線「のぞみ」にて上京す             Early moning of the seazon of churysanthemum,
                                                             get for Tokyo on Nozomi-New-Line                      

 秋高し雲一つなくウェディング                    Without a cloud, under the high autumn sky ,
                                                             we celebrate the wedding.

青々と天は一色秋の青　　　　　　　　　　　　　Blue, sky was blue,
                                                             all the sky displays its complete color of 
                                                             Autumn Blue
父母に捧ぐ激しきショパン秋の宴                With feeling, 
                                                             Bride dedicates a play of
                                                             a Chopin's composition to her parents. 
爽やかに新郎の父口上す                         An eloquent speech in a resonant voice
                                                             of Bridegroom's father
                                                            refreshed the party-air.
寄り添いて、新郎新婦秋うらら                   A fine autumn day it was.
                                                            The Bride and Bridegroom were side by side.
十月の芝踏みスナップ写真かな　　　　　　　 Treading on the grass of Octover,
                                                            the new couples were snapshot
                                                            at the lawn-garden.
純白の服あわただし芝の露                      On dewy green grass,
                                                            Brides were busy in whity bridal costumes.
東京の街路冷（すさま）じ式終えて             Taking part in a wedding- party a moment ago,
                                                            Feel desolate, on the Tokyo-Street,

　　退社する朋子さんに                                            For Tomoko who was going to retire the commpany
我を問ふ若き人あり冬ぬくし                      A yong girl asks "Who am I ?" 
                                                             Warm is this winter.
冬二十隔てて二重道二つ                         After a lapse of twenty winters,
                                                             a way of woman-living refrexes another in old days.
女なりネオン冴えわたる街に哭く                Along the street lit clearly by neon-signs,
                                                             A woman walks in tears.

一人（いちにん）と認められずに年過ぎぬ     Not being recognized a self-supporting person,
                                                             Years only passed on me.
世代越えて通うものあり冬の路                  A transmission was over two generations
                                                             In the street of cold winter
父母（ちちはは）も我も悲しき冬の風           Unhappy were the three, Father, Mother, and I.
                                                            'T was a windy day of winter.
事情（わけ）告げるスクランブル歩道冬めいて     

                                                             On the scramble crosswalk of winter drawing near,
                                                             I heard her circumstsnces.
自立求め再出発の十二月　　　　　　　　　　　 I will make resurrection for self-support
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　         In this month of December.
葉をつけよ凍える木立激励す　　　　　　　　　Attach your lieves, benumbed trees,
    　　　　　　　　                                       I cheer you.

　 　　初学の頃の、古い句があった。その頃属していた結社が、英語俳句も採っていたので、英語の句を付けたりもした。読み返すと、おかしいくらい未熟であるが、思い出として、「古い句集」と題して、ここに納めよう。少し訂正した句やフレーズもある。
