    甲府工場夏祭りに参加して                                           Partisipating in summer festival at Kofu factory
浴衣祭甲府に降る雨透きとおる                    T'was a cold blue rainy day,
                                              　　　　　　　　YUKATA  in summer festival,

    甲府行                                                             In Kofu
渇き癒すおいしい水よ水道に　　　　　　　　　　　Water supplied through a pipe
                                               　　　　　　　  Was Nice, recovering us indeed
                                                                from thirsty

　　異常に長い梅雨                                                         A dreadful long-term rainy season
梅雨長し富士川の水滔滔と　　　　　　　　　　　　Day after day,  it rains
                                                                The Fuji River, rising high with water,
                                                                flows slowly
夏の川行事の筏呑まれけり　　　　　　　　　　　　Shooting the rapids on a raft,
 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　                   The raft of summer event
                                                                Was upset.
傘をまたさし帰る梅雨真中　　　　　　　　　　　　 Again it rains,
 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　                   Again I use a spare umbrella,
                                                                In rainy season, on home.
エルニーニョ洋の東西にて氾濫　　　　　　　　　 At both sides of the Pasific ocean,
                                                                Rivers overflow, 
                                                                caused by el-nienio
北海道南西沖地震町さらう                           A town was there,
                                                                carried out by the earthquake at 
                                                                south-west offing of Hokkaido.

退屈なする話ない夏休み                           A tedium summer vacation

何かしたい原チャリ乗りたい夏はたち　　　　　Wan'a do something,
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　          Wan'a ride on a motor-cycle
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　          This summer,Twenty am I.
ＣＤコンポ音楽に飢え夏休み　　　　　　　　　　 Just buying CD player,
                                                              She was lacking music,
                                                              this summer,at parents'
逃げ戻るクーラーの無きところより　　　　　　　Standing hard in heat, with no air-conditioners,
                                                              She made an imidiate return to home.

　　白州にて、蕎麦や翁、清春美術館　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　   In Hakushuu, soba restaurant OKINA,
                                                                                               and  KIYOHARU Art Gallery
人と地図コスモスに聞く蕎麦屋かな              Driving to OKINA,
                                                              asking a person with a map,
                                                              cosmoses are chattering here and there.
日溜りとアルプス眺む微冷風                      In a little chilly breezing, 
                                                              I viewed ALPS, placing myself
                                                              at warmth of sunlight.
彫刻とトンボの停まるパイプ椅子                  In the garden,
                                                              Were the sculptures
                                                              and the pipe-chair a dragonfly stopping.
蕎麦を待つ秋描く人に混じりつつ　　　　　　　 Persons drawing falls around,
 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　                 we were waiting our turn
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　         to order Soba.

　　甲府信金誘拐事件を思い                                           Recalling Abduction Case of Kofu Credit Bank,
スポーツに夏過ぎ行きぬ小瀬公園              Seems not recalling the case of summer,
                                                             citizens are scattered in Kose sporting park.

　　連休の身延線　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　Minobu Line on the second last day of the holidays
満席の富士川８号秋休日　　　　　　　　　　　　Autumn holiday, All the seats were taken
                                                             on Fujikawa 8 on Minobu Line
秋の旅五十（いそじ）の主婦に疲れあり        Housewives in fiftys are in autumn journey,
                                                             and in Enough fatigue for a year
旅終えてよもやま尽きぬふたりづれ            With a long autumn chattar,
                                                             those two were going

おみやげに柿の葉さして「アン」をよむ。       A persimmon twig with green leaves
                                                             peeped out from her paper-bag,
                                                             She was reading "Anne of Green Gables."
ハイキング子らは疲れて祖母の膝　　　　　　 A child take a nap on Grandma's lap,
                                                             With a great fatigue of hiking.

　　初学の頃の、古い句があった。その頃属していた結社が、英語俳句も採っていたので、英語の句を付けたりもした。読み返すと、おかしいくらい未熟であるが、思い出として、「古い句集」と題して、ここに納めよう。少し訂正した句やフレーズもある。
